As restrictions start to ease, we are seeing that community organisations (including HVC) are slowly opening their doors and recommencing volunteering operations to varying degrees. Whilst we are currently not conducting face-to-face interviews, we are doing phone and Zoom interviews and referrals for those that are interested in the roles that are currently available.

Hunter Volunteer Centre is a Volunteer Resource Centre for community organisations and people interested in volunteering. One of our roles is to match people who want to volunteer to organisations who need volunteers.

At HVC, we run regular information sessions called 'Bridge to Volunteering'. These sessions aim to explain the volunteering journey and discusses things like your rights and responsibilities as a volunteer and what to expect from your experience.
